  • Are the apartments fully equipped? +

    Each apartment is fully equipped with fitted kitchen/living area complete with cable television, washer/dryer, fire alarms, fridge freezer, crockery and cutlery, microwave, iron/ironing board, kettle, toaster, hob and oven. Cleaning utensils such as mop and bucket, brush, dustpan and brush and hoover are also provided.
  • What are my payment options? +

    Abbeyville provide 2 payment options You may pay your accommodation in 2 fixed instalments or in 8 monthly instalments. The two fixed instalments are paid in August and December. The 8 monthly instalments are paid between August and April.
  • What methods of Payment are accepted? +

    Cash (payable at office only) Cheque/Bank Draft Credit/Debit Card Bank Transfer (bank details available on request)
  • What security is provided? +

    A 24 hour CCTV security system is in operation on the complex. Abbeyville has a residential warden who can be contacted with any issues you may have during the evening/weekends. Additional nightly security is also in operation on requirement.
  • Is car parking provided? +

    Yes, on site car parking is provided and is free of charge.
  • Is Internet provided? +

    Yes, Internet is provided free of charge. Each bedroom has its own broadband connection point. Access codes for broadband are available from reception.
  • Are overnight guests allowed? +

    Guests are allowed to stay overnight however we require that you sign them into reception and also inform your housemates out of courtesy.
  • What colleges are the residents of Abbeyville from? +

    The majority of residents at Abbeyville are students of CIT. However we also have a number of residents from UCC, Cork College of Commerce, St. Johns Central College and Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa.

    Yes, we have several dedicated wheelchair accessible rooms available.
  • What bus routes will take me to Abbeyville? +

    The 205 route is the most frequent used service to the area.   • Where do I collect my Key? +

    Keys are available for collection from reception during office hours only.
  • Who should I contact if I have a maintenance issue with my apartment? +

  • What happens if I lose my key? +

    In the event that you lose your key please report to office immediately. A €20 charge is required to issue a replacement key.
  • When are deposits refunded? +

    On completion of the full academic year security deposits are refunded in July.
